We don’t claim to have all the answers, but we do know that today there is way too many horses with soundness issues. We also are focused on our family’s human health along with our animal’s health. After endless research coupled with multigenerational accrued ranching knowledge, we know that maintaining the correct balance of Omega 6 to Omega 3 essential fatty acids is perhaps the most vital component to both human and animal health. With an optimum ratio being 6 parts Omega 6 to 1 part Omega 3. Also, long chain EPA & DHA Omega 3 provide much more benefit than short chain Omega 3 found in products such as flax seed oils. Now we have established a targeted goal to attain better health. It’s remarkable that this 6 to 1 ratio applies to Humans as well as our Animals.

It is much more than just an issue; it’s actually a real problem. While our horses need a 6 to 1 Omega ratio to be able to function at their full genetic potential, the average performance horse in America is functioning at an average Omega ratio of 24 to 1 up to 38 to 1. That’s the problem!!! Loren Greene’s horse Buck was ridden hard for many years, being Ben’s horse on Bonanza and as Matt Dillions horse on Gunsmoke. Buck died at 45 years of age and was still being ridden. Gene Audreys horse died at 41 and the list goes on. Years ago, our horses were healthier and longer lived. The same is true for today’s cattle and other species. We feel that our highly processed horse feeds and our well-intentioned horse nutritional supplements are actually causing the most vital component required for a balanced essential Omega fatty acids profile to become badly out of balance. This metabolic imbalance results in an overload of inflammatory Omega 6 overriding the health benefits of Omega 3. When you research the composition of leading horse supplements, it is clear that they do nothing to correct this imbalance.

As we dove deep into researching on how to correct this blaring imbalance, causing all these inflammation problems, we kept coming back to Cold Water Fish. These fish are full of the correct type of long chain Omega 3’s. However, feeding Salmon to Trigger is not the answer. Is there a best way? Yep, there is. What makes Cold Water Fish such a vessel of essential long chain Omega 3 fatty acids is that they eat Marine Microalgae which is the most powerful source of this vital compound. What we have done at Yellowstone Horse Balancer is that we developed a horse supplement formulated with the key ingredient being the patented Marine Microalgae ingredient. We are now turning Trigger into a Salmon by feeding Trigger directly what the Salmon eat. The results are nothing less than dramatic with a marked improvement in older horses starting in about 4 days and with steady improvement corresponding with how quickly we can get the horses Omega profile back into balance with 6 to 1 being the target. Barrel horses are very prone to inflammation causing stiffness and more missteps on turns. Barrel and other high stress performance horses respond dramatically to Yellowstone Horse Balancer.
We own the last son of Doc Atari. This 26-year-old legendary stallion was failing, and his future was very apparent. “Doc” was put on a ration with Yellowstone Horse Balancer and in one week he was a different horse with a complete reversal of the typical old horse ailments associated with inflammation and stiffness. When before he had difficulty standing up, he began running and bucking across his small pasture. How do you think it made us feel to watch this incredible improvement in an old stallion that sired soo many colts, produced many linebred broodmares for our Ranches mare herd and that we have owned since he was a weanling. We know of a 27-year-old mare that was on a death spiral that when fed Marine Microalgae, she completely reversed her downward trajectory and actually bred and raised a colt at 27. Its sounds like BS but these are facts.

We see it and live it every day of our lives. Horses are not just a hobby or sport to us; they are the center of our lives and have been for generations. We are Ranchers that have raised countless thousands of horses & cattle under the Big Sky for generations. Our horses are vital to our livelihoods and way of life. We have fed flax to our entire herd since Great Grandpa Henrik started the practice 140 years ago. But we can now do much better to take our horse buddies to a higher plane of Health and Fitness. While you “may” need to continue to supplement your horse for a specific need, the majority of horses will self-heal and correct a wide array of health and physical issues once their metabolism becomes more balanced. As this balance moves towards the optimum 6 to 1 ratio, your horse’s overall performance and energy will dramatically improve. The end goal is for the horse to be able to perform at his full genetic potential free of adverse inflammation and stiffness along with many other ailments. Give us a call, you will actually talk to a live voice from a Montana Ranch and probably mounted on a spectacular horse carrying a brand.
Yellowstone Horse Balancer is fully money back guaranteed so give it a try and ENJOY THE RIDE!!!
