Would you rather see a shampooed show bull ...
Or a bull on range after 90 days of breeding 65 cows?
Either way, there is nothing like Stenberg Coalition 509!

Use 509 to build the type of replacement heifers our industry demands.

    • Consistantly will reduce mature frame size
    • Sure fire calving ease — mid 60 lb calves are the norm after heavy use on
      commercial heifers
    • Improved maternal calving ease — frame 5 yearling daughters scaling 225 cm average pelvic area
    • Excellent 1st year growth with early maturity
    • Females that are extremely deep and thick with muscle and more muscle
    • Efficient, wide muzzled, easy fleshing grass converting females built on an
      efficient production sized frame

Our Senior Herd Sire, Stenberg Coalition 509 is a one of a kind bull. He is sired by Bennet Coalition whose mother is Pleasant Pill Of Conanga , thought by some to be one of the greatest Angus Dams of all time. She was mated to the legendary Pathfinder Sire, Sitz Alliance 6595, well known industry wide as being the sire of efficient, no nonsense maternal cattle.

Bennet Coalition, Sire

M Parl, Dam

Stenberg Coalition 509 is the result of the mating of Bennet Coalition and M Parl, a 15 Genestar, high efficiency, highly maternal performance cow. This cow consistently weans much more calf and breeds back in the first part of the breeding season and has a unique ability to maintain body condition year round, even during times of heavy stress such as nursing during drought and severe Montana winters. This cow is picture perfect with extreme depth and width. M Parl is an example of what we all strive for in a truly great cow.

CHECK OUT THE MUSCLE AND DEPTH!

Early maturity– 509 was born small and grew faster and weighed more than any calf in the history of the J bar S Ranch. At 7 months he outweighed his contemporaries by over 100 lbs. and had a normal 6 frame. He continued to grow at an accelerated rate; however his growth as a yearling concentrated on muscle and thickness rather than height. At 18 months his contemporaries had surpassed him in frame but he still exceeded the average weight as he matured as a frame 5 bull. Now with his calves displaying the same unique growth pattern and reduced frame, we are excited!!! His super calving ease is another bonus. When using 509 on heifers, reports from ranchers and in our own herd suggest 60-70 lbs is the norm. His calves have the same extreme muscle as their sire putting them in a class of their own. 509 has been tested against nine of the top performance sires: Net Worth, Limited Edition, Destroyer, Grid Topper, SAV 4147, Charge On, Scorch, Montana Design, and his own father, Coalition. In every test 509 had the heaviest sire group at weaning with lighter birth weights.

As a multiple generation ranching family we have produced and used top quality bulls for many years. Without question 509 is the absolute best bull, AI or natural we have ever produced or used. His calves have a distinct look in that they have a typey “Aberdeen” style head, with a wide muzzle, they are very deep and thick with a reduced frame yet still weigh up as well as calves from the top AI growth bulls. 509’s ability to produce replacement heifers will establish him as a leader in maternal genetics. His Heifers are perfect in size, temperament, efficiency and just plain the kind to keep. 509 is what today’s Ranchers are needing in order to build the most efficient cow herd possible. If you use the “Cow Maker” on your herd you will be amazed with the results.
