Rules of the Ride

THIS IS NOT A RIDE FOR BEGINNERS!!

PLEASE READ ALL OF THE RULES OF THE RIDE VERY CAREFULLY

The Mission Rangers Saddle Club has had the exclusive privilege of offering this annual ride for over 50 years. Members of our club and the Nation Bison Range officials look forward to the pleasure it bring to people. We ask for your consideration as to not jeopardize the future of this ride.

• Everyone must completely fill out and sign pass/release form BEFORE mounting up!!!
• Children must be at least 8 years old to go on the ride.
• Riders under the age of 14 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
• Parent/Guardian MUST sign gate pass/release form for riders under 18 years old.
• Caution at ponds; dismount before watering horses.
• Weed-free hay or pellets REQUIRED!
• Experienced Riders only!!
• Provide your own horse.
• Horses should be shod.
• Kickers must be flagged.
• One rider per horse.
• No studs or dogs.
• No alcoholic beverages on trail.
• Stay behind the rangers.
• Stay on the trail.
• Keep at a safe distance.
• Do not run horses.
• Do not litter.
• Horse hooves will be picked before entering Bison Range.
